The transponder is an electronic ID device and as specified in the ISO 11785 regulations, it is a passive and "read only" device using FDX-B or HDX protocol for animal identification with a frequency of 132,4 kHz

FDX (Full Duplex System): the outgoing signal starts as soon as the enquiry signal is received and the capacitor starts loading.


HDX (Half Duplex System): the outgoing signal starts only after the end of the enquiry signal has been received and the capacitor has been completely loading.
